Important Service Information

Protecting Your New Boat
Bottom Paint Recommendation
If your boat will remain in the water more than 3–5 days at a time, we strongly recommend antifouling bottom paint to help prevent barnacle growth, marine vegetation buildup, and hull damage.
Please ask our service department for details.
Stainless Steel Care
Marine environments are harsh on metal surfaces. To help keep stainless steel looking great:
- Polish every 1–3 months
- Use quality products such as Flitz polish
- Apply Corrosion X or Corrosion Block for additional protection
Please note: corrosion caused by lack of maintenance is not covered under the manufacturer’s warranty.
Safe Boating Reminders
Please take time to become comfortable with your new boat before planning long-distance or offshore trips.
- Always wear life jackets
- Check weather conditions before departure
- Go slow when docking
- Watch carefully for shallow water
- Never operate under the influence
- Leave a float plan with someone ashore
- Secure phones, wallets, and valuables
- Carry safety gear, tools, and first-aid supplies
Most importantly: Take your time and enjoy the learning process.
